Giant Pandas

For reading we were synthesizing on Giant pandas. Synthesizing means we get what we already know then read new information or new facts but when we write it down we have to put it in our own words and then after that we have to synthesize it. Here is a slide show of Giant pandas. Giant Pandas are endangered species. At first I didn't know that giant pandas were endangered species and I didn't really care about giant pandas but now I do.   

Mary Seacole

This is my home learning about Mary Seacole, was a hotelier,boarding house keeper, an author, and most important, a nurse. Mia and I were very interested in her facts. It was very interesting to see what I can do and to see what Mia can do. This task was really great.

Current events - Auckland bus strike

This is my current event about Auckland bus strike. Mia and I were working with each other very well we managed to finish this before lunch time. LS2 were using the 5 W's [ who what when why where] and we also added 2 points of view from the article. It was very interesting to see what is happening in NZ. This event happened on the 19 of February 4am  till the 20th of February 4am which was 24 hours. It was really great working with Mia.
