How do Native American people celebrate winter solstice?

Today we have been learning new things about Matariki. Javeylor and I chose to start with this first because we wanted to know what other countries do to celebrate winter solstice. We chose to find out about the Native Americans because we wanted to know what they do. Native American people make prayer sticks four days before the winter solstice.
