Should we change the current flag?
LI: To make an informed choice.
Today LS2 were learning how to make an informed choice. We were talking about which flag would be the best for our country. Before we voted we got into thinking groups. We had to draw a t-chart and we had to write reasons why we should change the flag and why not. My group wrote we should change the flag because it is familiar to the Australian flag. Then we had to write a reason we should not change the flag. My group didn't like to change the flag because it will cost a lot and we could use that money to build houses in Christchurch and to feed kids that are hungry. After that we had to tell Mrs Anderson what we wrote on our sheet of paper. It was very interesting hearing all the other answers.
