Tahuna Torea

Yesterday the Panmure bridge senior student went to Tahuna Torea to explore. They had a lot of fun because they got to walk around and look at the birds, plants, trees, e.t.c. When they walked around they took a lot of photo's of plants, trees and birds. The reason why the Panmure bridge senior students went to Tahuna Torea was because for inquiry we had something to do with flight. The LS2 students were learning about Godwits. Godwits migrate in Alaska but they come back to Tahuna Torea. Tahuna Torea is a wetland they are mostly for birds. Dogs are not allowed to be at Tahuna Torea. The Panmure bridge senior students had so much fun.

  1. Kia ora Fifita,

Awesome video! It looks like your class had so much fun during at Tahuna Torea. What was your favourite thing about your visit there?

My name's Dan. I'm a PE teacher in Manurewa, and I'm a part of the Summer Learning Journey programme with Rachel. I see that you've registered to take part over the holidays too? It would be awesome to check out some more of your blogs. The programme is super fun! You can learn about all sorts of countries and you can start any time you like!

Hope to hear from you soon :-)

    Dan.
